People seek counseling for all kinds of reasons and at all stages in the change process. I strongly believe in meeting people where they are and moving at a pace that is realistic and motivating.
I often tell my clients that they are the driver and I am the passenger on this journey towards wellness. Ultimately, it is up to you to tell me what direction we are going in, and I am here to provide the tools and guidance necessary to bring you to that destination.
We start off with a complimentary 20-minute phone consultation to assess:
What are the issues you need help with?
Are we a good fit for each other?
What is the best treatment plan for you?
From my experience, most clients begin to see changes within 4-8 sessions. I recommend that we start with a commitment of 3 sessions and go from there.
Individual Therapy: for clients seeking one-on-one counselling in a supportive, safe and comfortable space.
Couples and Family Therapy: for clients seeking help with relational conflicts, effective communication strategies and greater connection with loved ones.
E-Therapy Sessions: for clients who live further away and/or are not able to come to my office, video sessions can be arranged.
Workshops: for clients seeking the skills and tools necessary for change.
Payment methods: e-transfer, credit card, cash
I am a Registered Social Worker, which means that my services may be covered in full or in part by your extended-health benefits plan.
